FLIR i3 – Unboxing Video Review & Sample Images

Please Note: This post is in reference to the old i-series. You can find information on the new FLIR i3, i5 and i7 units on Optimum Stores.

FLIR i3 is the new & exciting, ultra-low cost and most affordable FLIR infrared camera ever. At US$1195, its cheaper than many DSLR digital cameras today. But for most of you reading this post, you’re more likely to want to own one of these for your business than for recreational fun. Don’t let the sub-$1200 price tag fool you, its not a toy. Sure, it may be a lot easier to justify breaking one accidentally, but if you’re like most people who’ve been buying this camera and who will buy this camera, you’re in it to help your business. Why not? its really affordable and thermal imaging is not going away.

The FLIR i3 can be used by electrical contractors, for predictive maintenance, HVAC professionals, energy auditors and building inspectors.

Interested in the FLIR i3? Great, because I’m excited to show you our new unboxing video and some sample thermal images taken from our FLIR i3 in our Canadian warehouse this past week:
