For data transmission/access via the cell phone network, this LTE module allows communication with 177X multimeters (the multimeter must be close enough to a compatible cell tower). In addition, this module is installed directly into the 177X, and a suitable antenna is required for communication (sold separately).

Connectivity

When using basic connectivity, the IP address of the SIM card becomes the primary point of connection. When the LTE module is plugged into the instrument the IP address of the instrument will be visible in the communications info that is available to access in from the main instrument home screen by pressing the I button on the left-hand side of the screen. This details the state of the Ethernet, Wi-Fi/BLE and cellular modem devices; in the last an IP address will be indicated. An APN will need to be set which will come from your service provider.
