The durometer deadweight test stand is designed to provide the ASTM recommended forces. Compatible with classic or ergo style durometers and of other manufacturers provided it can be mounted on an 8 to 32" thread. It comes with both 1-kg (for ASTM type A, B, E, and O) and 5-kg (ASTM C, D, and DO) weight.

Included weights are 2.2 lbs (1 kg) for ASTM type A, B, E and O and 11 lbs (5 kg) for ASTM C, D and DO. When properly used, this stand and your durometer will make highly accurate hardness readings.
