Additionally, with a protective rubber boot, this analyzer fits comfortably in your hand and operates with the push of a button.

Features

  • Clear and fast response with advance pump driven technology
  • Peak Hold to capture peak CO reading
  • Instrument recycles and will not shut off if 10 ppm CO is present, increasing safety
  • Store button allows you to save up to eight readings and then print using the IR port and optional printer (sold separately)
  • 1 ppm sensitivity
  • Measures up to 10,000 ppm

  • Sensor technology provides the longest lasting, most accurate and reliable means for performing tests

*The sensor in your analyzer will need to be replaced periodically and calibration is recommended once every year. The analyzer will remind you when calibration is due by flashing "CAL DUE Err" for three seconds at start up if the date of calibration is one year or older.

The following guidelines will help prevent damage to your sensor:

  • Always use the mini pump filter when performing tests
  • Always periodically check and replace the mini pump filter as needed
  • Always make sure the in-line filter/water trap is installed properly

  • Always remove water or condensation from the inside of the in-line filter/water trap assembly prior to performing tests
  • Always use the optional oil filter (sold separately) when performing tests on oil burning equipment
  • Never over saturate your sensors by performing tests on equipment with gas levels beyond the capability of the analyzer
  • Always keep the water trap/filter assembly clean and replace the filter as necessary

Don't expose yourself to carbon monoxide!

Review the list below for the maximum allowable exposure limits and symptoms developed with CO inhalation.

  • 9 ppm: The maximum allowable concentration for short term exposure in a living area according to ASHRAE
  • 50 ppm: The Federal OSHA standard for continuous exposure in any eight hour period
  • 200 ppm*: Maximum concentration allowable any time according to OSHA. Slight headaches, fatigue, dizziness, nausea after two to three hours
  • 400 ppm*: Frontal headaches within one to two hours, life threatening after three hours. Maximum allowable limit in flue gas according to EPA and AGA
  • 800 ppm*: Headache, dizziness, nausea, and convulsions with 45 minutes. Unconsciousness within two hours. Death within two to three minutes
  • 1600 ppm*: Headache, dizziness, and nausea within 20 minutes. Death within one hour
  • 3200 ppm*: Headache, dizziness, and nausea within 5 to 10 minutes. Death within 30 minutes
  • 6400 ppm*: Headache, dizziness, and nausea within one to two minutes. Death within 10 to 15 minutes
  • 12,800 ppm*: Death within one to three minutes

*With exposure to this concentration and higher the effects can vary depending on size, age, sex, and health.
